Anyone know how to change Spotify accounts on my Echo? I'm in Canada so don't have the Alexa app available, only the website. I originally set it up with my own Spotify profile (under family plan) but now my wife and kids are using it and messing up my suggestions. I'd like to set it to use a separate account instead. When I try to set up Spotify in Amazon Alexa, it is disabled. I went to Settings Music & Media Choose Default Music Services. Spotify is there (see screenshot) but it is greyed out and cannot be selected. I have a premium account and I've tried solutions like logging in with my email instead of Facebook, etc etc. Still doesnt work. Then, in the Spotify app, select the device you want to stream to. As we said previously, this could make Sonos, Alexa and Bose speakers more appealing to the millions of people who listen to. I've connected the same Spotify account in both the Alexa app, where I've used it for months and now the Sonos app, where playing music 'manually' through the app (you know - like a labourer!) and from the Spotify app itself (through Airplay I suppose) work just fine, but if I say something like 'Alexa, play The Beatles' it starts trying to. To access Alexa settings, open the free iOS or Android Alexa app, or log in with your Amazon account information to the web interface at alexa.amazon.com. Select Settings in the menu.
You can ask Alexa to play certain songs, artists, genres, playlists and more from Spotify, and even have it lull you to sleep at night. But first you’ll have to connect Spotify and Alexa. Here’s how.

1. In the Alexa app, open the left-hand menu (the three horizontal bars in the upper left), and select Settings.
2. Select Music under the Alexa Preferences subheading.
3. Tap “Link new service.”
4. Select “Spotify.”

Now, when you ask Alexa to play music, it will automatically play music from Spotify. You can ask Alexa to play specific artists, songs, genres of music, or playlists. Because you had set Spotify as the default music source, it will play music only from Spotify, unless you ask Alexa to play music from a different source, such as Pandora. You can also ask Alexa to raise or lower the volume, skip to the next track, repeat songs and even get information about the song being played. Here is a full list of Alexa music commands.

Spotify currently offers more than 50 million music tracks on the platform, and that is before we even get to the ever-widening range of podcasts. Till now, Amazon offered the option of Amazon Music, Apple Music, JioSaavn, Hungama Music and TuneIn streaming services, and each of these could either be called on demand or set as the default music playback services. These will work across the entire range of Amazon Echo smart speakers and smart displays, including the Echo Dot, Echo Plus and the Echo Show.
Amazon also confirms that Spotify for Alexa will also be coming soon for the Amazon Fire TV range as well as for mobile devices.
